DAS Version 3.07.0159 Release Note

1. Updated selection manager tool

[ Start menu in DAS ]

When you run the Selection Manager tool from the DAS start menu, you can see which tools are made up of Selection Filter and Selection Memory.

It is a support tool that allows users to check the model information by selecting their desired items and shows the list of their selection(s). Users can select member(s) on the list that appears.

[ Before getting Model Info ] [ After getting Model info ]

a. Get model info : After selecting the items, when you click on Get Model Info, it will bring the information of Tekla model that you are currently working on to the list of Selection Manager.

b. If you select the member and import the model information, only the information of the selected member(s) will be displayed. If the member is not selected, it will represent the information from the entire model.

c. The information that can be represented includes Name, Part Prefix, Start number, Profile, Rotation, Material, Finish, and Class.

d. If you mark on "show only selected", the unselected members appear in transparency; it becomes easier to distinguish between selected member(s) and unselected member(s).

e. If you double-click on the item for which model information has been imported, the model becomes selected in the model. When selecting, if you use Ctrl key and Shift Key, you can make duplicate selections.

2) Selection Memory

It is a support tool that remembers the user's selected member(s) when modeling and is easy to find even if the user's selection is canceled.

[Before saving selected memory ] [After saving selected memory ]

a. In the model, select the member you would like to save.

b. Enter the name to be saved in the Selection Memory, and if you click "Add", the creation date and the selected quantity will be recorded and saved.

c. Double click on the saved item to select the member in the model.

If you use the Ctrl or Shift keys, you can make duplicate selection.

d. Saved content is to be stored in the model folder.

2. Assembly Drawing / Dimension types / New dimensions

1) Beam / Main part / Topview (BottomView) / "Post Neighborpart with AddPlate"

If the post is a neighbor part, and the base plate and beam flange are connected with bolts, it shows the dimensions of the post reference point locations.

If there is an add plate, it automatically shows the dimension that connects the end points of the Add plate at the reference point of the post.

2) BevelBeam / Main part / Top view (Bottom View) / "Post Neighborpart with AddPlate"

If the post is a neighbor part, and the base plate and beam flange are connected with bolts, it shows the dimensions of the post reference point locations.

If there is an add plate, it automatically shows the dimension that connects the end points of the Add plate at the reference point of the Post.

3) Section / Shear Web Plate/ "First of Hole Vertical"

Dimensions are represented when the reference point of the main part is located at the top. The top of the hole group and reference point of the main part are connected vertically to display dimensions.

4) Section / Shear Web Plate / "First of Hole Horizontal"

Dimensions are represented when the reference point of the main part is located at the top. The top of the hole group and reference point of the main part are connected horizontally to display dimensions.

Note) In the preview image of Shear Web Plate, it used to show one bolt line, but now it shows two bolt lines.

3. Other improvements

1) Improvement of Stud Bolt Recognition problem

Some unrecognized parts when marking on custom under Stud have been improved.

Fixed to recognize stud if only "STUD" is included in Bolt standard name. (Case-insensitive.)

2) Improvement of connection mark

The connection mark that was improperly displayed has been improved according to some TEKLA versions.

Note)

The connection mark is only represented in general view in TEKLA 17.0 ~ 18.0 version.

In TEKLA 19.0 and later versions, the connection mark is represented in the entire view.

3) Replaced section symbol in general view with "Annotating section symbol"

It became convenient to move the position of the section symbol shown in the general view.

The existing polylines and symbols have been modified to Annotating section symbols.

Note) Tekla 19.0 and later are in effect.

4) Improvement of Grid Management Tools

Problem of interference between grid labels and grid lines when using grid management tools has been solved.

5) Improvement of Dimension Name in Chinese on Assembly Drawing

A Dimension name has been modified.

We have changed from the existing 牛腿 工作 点 to 檩 托板 牛腿 定位.

6) Assembly / Dimension Types / Beam, BevelBeam, Column / Main Part / Font of "Circular Opening Horizontal"

[ Build0158 Font : Arial Narrow] [ Build0159 Font : MS PGothic]

The text font representing the diameter of the "Circular Opening Horizontal" has been changed from the existing "Arial Narrow" to "MS PGothic".

Note)

Depending on XS_CHAMFER_ACCURACY_FACTOR setting in TEKLA Advanced options,

the diameter information may be different on the drawings and in the models. When the value of the setting is 3 or lower, the proper diameter information can be found.
